O ensino da língua portuguesa e inglesa acompanha de maneira atualizada e dinâmica as novas tendências de conduzir a criança a integrar-se na cultura e alcançar fluência nos dois idiomas.
A proposta é colocar o aluno em contato com os idiomas através de diversas atividades pedagógicas, além da utilização da biblioteca, de excursões diversas, de atividades no laboratório de informática, dentre outras.
A criança da Educação Infantil está na “primeira infância”, período sensível de aprendizado da linguagem. O preparo intensivo para assimilá-la já se produz no primeiro ano, quando a criança aprende a pronunciar os sons e começa a aprender e a pronunciar as primeiras palavras.
O currículo é desenvolvido em Inglês, porém a partir do C4 são introduzidas aulas na língua portuguesa com o objetivo de iniciar o processo de alfabetização.
O conteúdo programático é ensinado através da interdisciplinaridade, na forma de projetos preparados de acordo com os interesses e solicitações dos educandos, sem deixar de contemplar o currículo oficial.

Atividades Extraclasse
A diversidade musical, artística e corporal é transmitida através de aulas dirigidas de Artes, Música, Teatro e Educação Física, realizadas uma vez por semana. A língua inglesa está presente em todas as atividades de forma natural e divertida.
Artes
As crianças executam atividades artísticas, através dos recursos disponibilizados pela escola. Trabalhos manuais são realizados e cada classe se utiliza da sala de artes, onde podem experimentar diferentes tipos de materiais e explorar as suas variadas sensações (visão, audição, tato e olfato).
Música
As crianças cantam e interpretam canções em Inglês com um profissional especializado em aulas de música. O conteúdo está relacionado ao projeto de cada classe e ao cotidiano escolar.
Teatro
As aulas de teatro são ministradas por um profissional especializado, que propõe atividades às crianças que enfatizam o desenvolvimento da criatividade, interpretação e dramatização. Essas atividades são realizadas em um ambiente de magia, diversão e distração. As fantasias e ornamentos reforçam a construção das histórias, jogos e apresentações.
Educação Física
As crianças executam uma série de exercícios e jogos em que o objetivo principal é o desenvolvimento da coordenação motora.
Biblioteca
Um completo e moderno material didático compõe nossa biblioteca. O objetivo é estimular o contato das crianças com tipos diferentes de leitura, como fábulas, rimas, contos, etc. Através de estratégias lúdicas, a criança é encorajada a desenvolver o gosto por ler e usar os livros cuidadosamente.
Videoteca
As crianças assistem a vídeos na língua inglesa como um complemento aos projetos e atividades de idioma e interpretação.
Jardinagem
A consciência ambiental é desenvolvida a partir do convívio com a natureza, a horta, o pomar e o viveiro. A cada semana uma classe é responsável por molhar e cuidar do pomar e da horta, como também alimentar e dar água aos animais. A horta também é explorada durante as aulas de culinária.
Culinária
As crianças preparam com diferentes ingredientes seus lanches e os experimentam. Elas observam como os alimentos são preparados e as mudanças físicas que acontecem durante esse processo. Elas sentem o gosto, o cheiro, a textura e se manifestam se gostaram ou não.
Informática
A proposta é ensinar as crianças a utilizarem corretamente o computador e introduzi-las aos conceitos básicos de informática, de uma maneira bem dosada e divertida. As atividades são intercaladas entre a utilização do computador e trabalhos manuais. Dessa forma, as crianças farão uma conexão com o mundo real, bem como utilizarão os seus impulsos volitivos.

The teaching of the Portuguese and English languages follows, in a contemporary and dynamic way, the new trend of developing fluency skills in both languages by means of immersing students in cultural and pedagogical activities such as field trips, library, IT laboratory and others.
Children at the Preschool age are at a sensitive period for language acquisition. The intensive preparation for learning already shows during the first year of life, when the child learns to voice sounds and pronounces the first words.
In the Preschool education the curriculum is presented in English. However, from C4 on the children also have Portuguese classes due to the process of literacy.
The content of the Program is taught through interdisciplinarity in the form of projects which are prepared according to the interests and requirements, always respecting the official Brazilian Curriculum.
In Preschool education, the students participate in various playful activities that promote the development of their potentialities in a planned manner, always adequate to their age group. The pedagogical activities in Preschool include: arts, music, physical education, drama, language, motor coordination, mathematics and social knowledge. English is present in all classes and is developed in a natural manner. The main goal – from Nursery to C5 – is to provide the students with integration and socialization, so they can become part of a group and respect each other.
It is essencial that the students' first experiences in school are positive and that they are able to develop individually in the social, emotional, intellectual and physical aspects.
Specific aims of the Preschool
The activities are done always respecting the students' age group.
The school educational philosophy and methodology have as goal to develop the student so as to make him/her capable of facing the future in a consistent and critical manner. It includes the organization of stimulating elements of the Multiple Intelligences, awakening the creativity in the student and giving him/her the opportunity to vary its knowledge areas. Extra Class Activities
The musical, artistic and body diversity is taught through Arts, Music, Drama, and Physical Education classes. English is present in all activities in a natural and fun way.
Arts
The children do artistic activities daily with the resources available at school. Handcrafts are made and each class goes to the Art room where they can try different types of material and explore their different senses (vision, hearing, touch and smell).
Music
The children sing and interpret songs in English with a professional specialized in music classes. The contents are related to the class projects and to the school routine.
Drama
Drama classes are given by a specialized professional who works with activities which emphasize the development of creativity, interpretation and dramatization. These activities are done in a magic, amusing and relaxing environment. The costumes and ornaments reinforce the construction of stories, games and presentations.
Physical Education
The children perform several exercises and games which aim at developing motor coordination skills.
Library
Our library is composed of complete and modern didactic materials. The main objective is to stimulate the children's contact with different kinds of reading material such as fables, rhymes, tales, etc. Through playful strategies, the child is encouraged to develop the pleasure in reading and handling the books carefully.
Video Library
The children watch videos in English as a complement to the projects, language and acting activities.
Gardening
The environmental conscience is developed by living together with the nature, the vegetable garden, the fruit garden (orchard) and the aviary. Each class is responsible for watering and taking care of the orchard and vegetable garden, as well as feeding and giving water to the animals. The vegetable garden is also explored during the cooking classes.
Cookery
The children prepare and try their snacks with different ingredients. They observe how the food is prepared and the physical changes that occur during that process. They taste it, smell it, touch it, and express their likes and dislikes.
Information Technology
The proposal is to teach the children how to use the computer correctly and introduce them to the basic concepts of information technology in a dosed and fun manner. The activities are divided between computer use and manual work. Hence, the children will always be connecting to the real world as well as using their will power.
