Children are welcomed to BIS for a half-day immersion, joining teachers and peers to experience our vibrant school life. During their visit, they also take a grade-appropriate assessment in English, Portuguese, and Mathematics.

Successful applicants will receive an official offer. Families confirm acceptance by signing the enrollment agreement and submitting the required pre-enrollment fees and documents.

Once all documents are submitted and the assessment is completed, the application is reviewed by our Academic Team. Families will then be contacted regarding the outcome of the process.
We follow the Ministry of Education regulations regarding application deadlines. Please contact the Admissions Office for more information.
Yes. If no places are available in your child’s grade, your application will be placed on the waiting list. We will contact you if a space becomes available.
From Year 2 onwards, applicants complete a diagnostic assessment in English, Portuguese, and Mathematics.
As a bilingual school following both the Brazilian and International curricula, an evaluation is required to understand your child’s academic background. Some subjects may require additional support to ensure a smooth transition.

Yes. We partner with Sanutrin to provide snacks and lunch for students, and dinner for Kindergarten students.
Kindergarten:
Primary School: 7:45 AM – 3:45 PM (Monday–Friday)
Secondary School: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday–Friday)
High School:
Yes, all students are required to wear the school uniform daily.
