A new space for learning in Moema

BIS is developing a new building at Av. Indianópolis, 739 – Moema, creating a new campus environment dedicated to Early Childhood Education.

 

The new Moema building represents an important new chapter for Brazilian International School. Designed to support the needs of Early Childhood Education, the campus will bring together learning, play, creative experiences, and spaces for the wider school community.

 

With 12 new classrooms and capacity for 184 additional students, the new building will expand BIS's provision while creating purpose-designed spaces for learning, play, exploration and collaboration.

    Sports courts, games areas, and a bike and scooter track provide spaces for physical activity, movement, and recreation.

The new building has been planned across several levels, bringing together dedicated learning environments, shared facilities, and spaces for play and recreation.

    The ground floor includes 12 classrooms, reception, a parent meeting room, sensory experience area, cooking lab and refectory, support kitchen, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, and recreational areas.

    The first floor includes a library, two classrooms, teachers' room, and coordination support areas, alongside a café and other supporting facilities.

    The second floor includes 12 classrooms, creative corridors, and a study lounge, alongside teachers' and supporting facilities.

    The rooftop includes sports courts, games areas, seating, a multipurpose room, and a bike and scooter track, creating additional spaces for activity and recreation.
