At Brazilian International School, students are the protagonist of their journey. They build a solid academic foundation, along with the development of natural fluency in both Portuguese and English through a blend of Brazilian and international curricula. Our school opened under the name Integration School in the Vila Olímpia neighborhood, offering Nursery and Early Childhood Education to local families.
Our school opened Elementary School Years 1 and 2 through a merger with the British International School, becoming the Brazilian International Integration School, with two campuses: Vila Olímpia and Granja Julieta.
We acquired the Montessori School, unifying campuses in Moema, and officially becoming the Brazilian International School. Soon after, the Early Childhood Education space opened at Alameda dos Maracatins, welcoming young learners to a new environment.
Our students proudly took part in this international event in the United Kingdom, meeting with peers from over 20 nationalities and challenging them in linguistic and artistic tasks.
Our school got noticed by Bahema Educação Group for its forward-thinking, bilingual offering, beginning a partnership that granted our students even more opportunities for growth.
We began of a new journey of growth and excellence at the campus located at Avenida Iraí, 1330 - enhanced with bright classrooms, modern STEAM, art and sport spaces, for an even more inspired learning.
BIS obtained Cognia accreditation, enhancing the global credibility of the international High School Diploma and aligning with world-class education standards.
BIS joined the International Schools Partnership - ISP, offering students exciting opportunities and collaborations with access to global learning communities and international experiences.
Our students obtained the prestigious first place in the British English Olympics and ranked second in The Masters international competition, distinguishing themselves among peers from all over the world.
